Dstelecom has just launched in Mirandela, bringing fibre optics to the parish of Alvites. In a statement, the wholesale operator announced that it currently covers more than 230 homes in this locality.

In the coming months, coverage is expected to extend to a further 300 homes in two additional locations, Caravelas and Freixeda.

Ensuring full coverage of these parishes, the company emphasises that the aim of this expansion is to contribute to stabilising the population and creating new opportunities for the region, promoting economic and social benefits.

Remember that the network operated by dstelecom is characterised by a neutral and open model, allowing residents to choose between different telecommunications operators. This approach aims to ensure freedom of choice and foster competition, guaranteeing access to high-performance services, regardless of geographical location.

Mirandela residents can now check the availability of fibre coverage in their area by sending an email to euquerofibra@dstelecom.pt with their full address and, ideally, GPS coordinates. Alternatively, they can also call 800 910 660.
