At the moment, there are already more than 6 thousand homes covered by dstelecom's optical fiber network in Castro Marim, distributed across 2 locations. According to the company, Altura and Castro Marim have state-of-the-art telecommunications services, benefiting from more speed, better coverage and higher quality.

As this is a neutral infrastructure - and since all operators operating in Portugal make their services available to the end consumer through this fiber optic network -, citizens will have complete freedom of choice when subscribing to television, internet and telephone.

Remember that dstelecom's purpose is to bring optical fiber to areas of the country where there is a greater digital need and contribute not only to the settlement of the population, but also to the creation of new opportunities for the regions it serves. At the moment, the company covers more than 800 thousand homes in 145 municipalities, but hopes to reach 1 million Portuguese homes by 2024.
