dstelecom's multi-operator fibre optic network already covers more than 5,400 homes in the municipality of Alcobaça, which means that in four parishes in the municipality people can contract state-of-the-art telecommunications services from any operator.

The information was provided by the company itself, which added that its infrastructure is available in the parishes of Cela, São Martinho do Porto, Vimieiro and the western end of Évora de Alcobaça.

It should be remembered that dstelecom's aim is to bring fibre optics to areas of the country where there is a greater digital shortage and to contribute not only to the population's settlement, but also to the creation of new opportunities for the regions it serves. At the moment, the company covers more than 850,000 homes, but hopes to exceed the target of 900,000 homes covered by 2024.
