Rui Martins
This is Rui. He’s been at dstelecom for just over a year and there are already good reasons for us to get to know him a bit better.
Here, he’s found a new chapter in which to continue building his career and, above all, the space to discover where his next challenges might take him. “At dstelecom, I’ve found an environment where I can continue to learn, contribute and develop,” he tells us.
And whilst growth is important, people are just as important. For Rui, it’s the relationships forged day-to-day that help make a difference to the work experience: “I value closeness and good relationships between colleagues, both within and outside the company.”
There’s also one word that helps explain how he views dstelecom: “ambition”. “It’s a company that constantly seeks to improve, innovate and overcome new challenges, both in day-to-day work and in major projects,” he explains.
Among the dreams he harbours for the future is a rather specific one: to move to Thailand and open a bar and a surf school. Whether he’s building his career at dstelecom or imagining a life on the other side of the world, there seems to be one thing that never changes: his desire to explore new possibilities and not settle for what he already knows.
