Dstelecom is expanding its fiber-optic network in the municipality of Sabrosa, in the district of Vila Real, with an expansion that will connect more than 1,650 new homes by the end of 2026.

With this expansion, the dstelecom network will now serve approximately 4,700 households, achieving a coverage rate of 96% of the municipality and enhancing access to state-of-the-art telecommunications services.

One of the main highlights of this expansion is the arrival of fiber-optic service, for the first time, in the parish of São Lourenço de Ribapinhão. By the end of the year, the network is also scheduled to be extended to Parada de Pinhão, Gouvães do Douro, São Cristóvão do Douro, and Vilarinho de São Romão.

The project also includes improved coverage in the towns of Paços, Souto Maior, and São Martinho de Antas, allowing more families and businesses to benefit from a fast, high-quality internet connection.

Fiber in your home?

As it continues to expand its network, dstelecom reaffirms its commitment to bringing people, businesses, and communities closer together through connectivity. This investment in digital infrastructure helps expand opportunities, support regional development, and prepare communities for the challenges of the future.
