dstelecom recently expanded its fiber optic network in the municipality of Valpaços, bringing cutting-edge connectivity to approximately 800 new homes in São João da Corveira, Santa Maria de Emeres, Carrazedo de Montenegro and Curros.
But the expansion doesn’t stop there. In the next phase, the company plans to extend its fiber optic network to an additional 1,800 new homes in Algeriz, Canaveses, Carrazedo de Montenegro and Curros; Padrela and Tazem; Rio Torto; São João da Corveira; São Pedro de Veiga de Lila; Vales; Valpaços and Sanfins.
With this expansion, the digital highway will reach a total of 11,300 homes in the municipality, creating new opportunities for families and businesses and contributing to digital inclusion and territorial cohesion.
