Mirandela: dstelecom expands its fiber optic network, bringing more than 2,500 new homes within its coverage area

Dstelecom continues to expand its fiber optic network in the municipality of Mirandela, now covering more than 2,500 homes via its multi-operator infrastructure. By the end of the year, the expansion is expected to reach around 5,500 homes, strengthening the company’s presence in the area.

This expansion makes it possible to provide fiber optic coverage, for the first time, in the parishes of Bouça, Fradizela, Mascarenhas, Múrias, São Pedro Velho, Torre de Dona Chama and Vale de Gouvinhas, extending access to telecommunications services supported by an infrastructure designed to meet the needs of an increasingly digital everyday life.

By the end of the year, dstelecom plans to continue expanding its network to the parishes of Abreiro, Aguieiras, Mirandela and Suçães, as well as to the Union of Parishes of Avidagos, Navalho and Pereira and the Union of Parishes of Barcel, Marmelos and Valverde da Gestosa, thereby strengthening coverage across the municipality.
