The expansion of the fiber optic network means that new households in Giões and in the Union of Parishes of Alcoutim and Pereiro now have access to the cutting-edge telecommunications services.
dstelecom has just upgraded its fiber optic network in the municipality of Alcoutim, bringing state-of-the-art connectivity to more than 400 new homes via its multi-operator infrastructure.
The project covers the parishes of Giões and the Union of Parishes of Alcoutim and Pereiro, giving more families the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a fiber optic connection.
With this expansion, dstelecom’s network now reaches a total of 3,100 homes in the municipality, consolidating the company’s presence in the area and extending access to faster, more stable connectivity that is tailored to everyday needs.
Residents of Alcoutim can now check the availability of fibre coverage via our coverage page or by sending an email to euquerofibra@dstelecom.pt, including their full address and, ideally, GPS coordinates. Alternatively, they can call 800 910 660.
